Located in Episkopi village, the church of Saint George is a rare example of 12th – 13th century architecture.
4 km east of the village Meseleri, this beautiful Byzantine monument has its roots in the 14th century. The monastery reached its prime during the 16-17th century.
Next to the important Archaic settlement of ‘’Azorias’’ in Kavousi, with a life-span of more than 3200 years, there is the ancient olive tree that is called ‘’monumental’’. Its branches were used for olive wreaths of the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens.
